Overview

Mutual Clarity ("we", "us") provides a software tool that helps licensed reverse mortgage loan officers create and share client-facing strategy presentations. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

Account information — name, email, and authentication credentials for loan officers who sign up.
Presentation content — information officers enter about their clients (names, financial situation, debts, goals, product scenarios).
Viewer analytics — when a homeowner opens a shared presentation, we record IP-derived approximate location (country, region, city), device type, sections viewed, time on page, and clicks. We do not use third-party ad trackers.

How we use information

To operate the service and let officers manage presentations.
To provide engagement analytics to the officer who owns the presentation.
To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, database, email delivery, edge networking) under contractual confidentiality obligations, and when required by law.

Data retention

We retain account and presentation data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual presentations at any time. Deleting your account removes your data within a reasonable period, subject to backup retention windows and legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at hello@mutualclarity.com to make a request.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is scoped per officer using row-level security. See our Security page for details.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above.
